Meet Tai Star
Tai Star is a trusted mortgage professional, Oregon native, and proud U.S. Navy Veteran with over 10 years of service, including Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. During the Gulf War, Tai served aboard the guided-missile frigate USS Curts, playing a key operational role in the liberation of Kuwait—an experience that was featured in The Oregonian.
That foundation of service, discipline, and accountability carries through to his work in the mortgage industry. With years of experience in residential lending, Tai is known for his clear, educational approach and his commitment to putting clients first.
As the founder of myLoanBroker.io, Tai’s mission is to “empower homebuyers through education, transparency, and choice.” By operating under a true mortgage broker model, he provides access to multiple lenders and loan programs—allowing clients to compare options and secure financing aligned with their budget and long-term goals.
Outside of work, Tai is engaged to his fiancée and is a proud father of two teenage boys. Family, service, and responsibility are central to how he lives—and how he serves his clients.
