About Jonathan Daniel Bowen

I'm Jon, a Massachusetts Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with Loan Factory. I service borrowers across the Commonwealth from my home office in Stoughton. I hold my license exclusively in Massachusetts, where I've spent my entire professional life. Boston and the surrounding South Shore communities are not a territory I cover; they are where I live, work, and raise my family.

I bring more than twenty-six years of Massachusetts real estate experience to every mortgage file I originate. That experience is anchored by four active Massachusetts licenses: my Mortgage Loan Originator license, my Massachusetts Real Estate Broker license, my Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, and my Massachusetts Casualty and Life insurance producer licenses. Most loan originators carry one license; I carry four, and each one informs my deal evaluations. When I look at a Massachusetts property, I see the asset, the construction quality, the loan, and its risk profile in a single pass.

The Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License (CSL) means I have spent real time on Massachusetts job sites, supervising the construction of buildings of any size and use group permitted under the Massachusetts State Building Code. The Massachusetts Real Estate Broker license means I understand how Massachusetts purchase and sale agreements, offers, and closings actually move. The insurance producer licenses mean I understand how property and casualty coverage protects the collateral securing a Massachusetts mortgage. These credentials, together, give me a view of Massachusetts real estate that very few mortgage originators in Boston or anywhere else in the state can match.

I work primarily with Massachusetts real estate investors, multi-family property buyers, and borrowers whose situations call for non-QM loan products such as DSCR loans, bank statement loans, asset depletion loans, and fix-and-flip financing. My background in multi-family operations and construction supervision makes me genuinely useful when a live-in two-family, a triple-decker, or an investment property with five or more units is on the table. I read properties the way I read borrowers: carefully, honestly, and with attention to the guidelines that determine a deal's survivability.
