Raised in the heartlands of Montana and armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Montana State University–Bozeman, Jeffrey’s early experiences instilled in him a strong work ethic and a values-first approach to leadership. These formative years not only influenced his later focus on crop insurance but also nurtured his lifelong love for the outdoors, a personal passion that reflects his respect for nature and community.

Jeffrey launched his professional career in the early 1990s as President of Prairie Mountain Insurance, Inc., where he quickly distinguished himself as a capable and visionary leader. His portfolio included personal lines such as auto and home insurance, as well as specialized services in farm and crop insurance. Under his leadership, the agency expanded its regional footprint and played a pivotal role in supporting affiliated companies through IPO initiatives, demonstrating Jeffrey’s acute business acumen and versatility.

In 1995, he transitioned into independent consulting as an insurance agent, a role he has maintained for over 30 years. As a self-employed producer in both commercial and personal lines, Jeffrey has built a thriving practice centered on client trust, self-sourced lead generation, and a comprehensive understanding of complex insurance landscapes. Licensed across multiple states, including Utah, Montana, and Idaho, he continues to serve clients with a focus on life, health, property/casualty products, medicare supplements and medicare advantage. His reputation for reliability and personalized service has earned him lasting relationships and a loyal client base.

Adding further depth to his professional portfolio, Jeffrey joined American Advisors Group in 2015 as a Mortgage Loan Originator. For six years, he specialized in both standard and reverse mortgages, harnessing platforms such as Encompass, LendForce, and ReverseVision to provide optimal lending solutions for clients. His PCX Certification—a testament to his dedication to delivering the “Perfect Customer Experience”—speaks volumes about his customer-first philosophy. During this same period, Jeffrey also pursued his passion for the financial markets. From 2009 to 2020, he actively worked as a Futures Trader at Legacy Traders, Inc., focusing on commodities such as wheat, corn, and soybeans.
