About me
Steve McKanna attended the University of Washington, where he majored in Economics and played lacrosse for 3 seasons and football for one season. Steve brings 20+ years of mortgage experience, 11 of those specifically helping our nation’s Veterans. For the past 15 years of his mortgage career he has been a National Sales Trainer for multiple companies. Most recently growing Homefinity, the online division of Fairway Independent Mortgage Co from $0 to $4 billion in less than 4 years. He helped hire and train 125 loan officer’s nationwide and held a daily training call for 3+ years.
Before Fairway he was the VP of the Business Partner Channel Group for US Bank, where he signed the biggest client in US Bank history, the Washington Hospitality Association. He is still friends with the President and CEO, Anthony Anton and enjoys attending their events. Steve also brought on the Girl Scouts of America Southern California Division, Chicago Auto Trade Association and over 2,000 Elks Lodge’s nationwide.
Steve resides in Washington state with his beautiful wife of 20+ years and their 5 children. His family is active in their church and community. Steve enjoys coaching the basketball and soccer teams of his 3 daughters and 2 sons. Having grown up in the wonderful Pacific Northwest, Steve enjoys skiing, camping, hiking, golfing and all water sports.
