About me

I am Scott Haire. Upon graduating high school, I joined the United States Marine Corp. I served in an active duty capacity for 6 years receiving an Honorable Discharge. Our unit supported the FA-18 Hornets in Beaufort, SC. During the marines I started taking community college courses so that once released I was able to obtain a 4-year degree from UNC Charlotte in 1997 with a concentration in Finance. I got my first bank job that year and have stayed in banking for 25 years. First I worked in commercial loan support and then transferred into technology and database management. In 2007 I decided to pursue my mortgage license and a career in sales. It has been very rewarding as I have had to leverage all of my various experiences and skill sets to stay relevant as our industry has been revolutionized in so many ways! My primary goal has not changed since getting licensed. In other words I still want to be a trustworthy advisor, i.e. someone people can consult how to save money and get the best deal on their mortgage using every tool and resource available to make that happen!
