Report to Accounting Manager
This position can be REMOTE
Responsibilities:
- Entering and consolidating transactions on QuickBooks for the company and office branches.
- Prepares and records journal entries and analyzes account information and trends.
- Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled monthly.
- Supervise payroll staff to prepare payrolls and to reconcile PTO, employee benefits, and 401K.
- Prepare timely and regular accounts analysis and reconciliations.
- Ad hoc assignment from Accounting Manager.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Solid knowledge of current and applicable GAAP standards/principles
- Quick Books Online experience strongly desired.
- Experience with financial reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze and interpret financial information and make recommendations to management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must be proactive, able to organize, meet deadlines and set priorities.
